Mission Statement

We are a municipal shelter who strives to improve animal welfare and make a better life for the dogs and catof Roosevelt City and Duchesne County Our shelter tries to reunite wayward pets with their owners and provide compassionate and humane care for the animals that enter our facilityWe work diligently to provide the best outcome possible for each animal who comes into our care. We strive to be a reliable educational resource for our community and provide affordable animal services.

Volunteering & Donating

RAS Volunteer information

To volunteer at the Roosevelt Animal Shelter, you must be at least 11 years old. Volunteers aged 11-13 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. All volunteers are required to sign the Volunteer Waiver & Agreement (for minors this agreement must be signed by a parent or legal guardian). 

Donations

Monetary donations to the Animal Shelter are always needed and appreciated. You can even write your donation off on your taxes! to make a contribution, visit our ShelterLuv Donation Page

We also have an Amazon Wishlist that you can use to purchase food and supplies on behalf of the shelter.
