The Roosevelt Memorial Park is open seven days a week from dawn until dusk. Cemetery staff is onsite from 8 a.m. til 4 p.m. Monday-Friday.

Memorial Day 2025 Guidelines

Memorial Day is almost here! 

The Roosevelt City Cemetery staff is currently working on final maintenance in preparation for the holiday. Flowers and other decorations can begin to be placed on Friday, May 23.

All decorations and flowers you want to keep must be removed BEFORE JUNE 2, 2025. Our cemetery staff will begin clean-up as soon as they arrive to work on Monday, June 2nd. ALL ITEMS LEFT ON GRAVES WILL BE REMOVED AND DISPOSED OF AT THAT TIME. There are no exceptions.

There are no restrictions on decorations. However, please be aware that the cemetery is open to the public and not monitored 24/7. You assume all risk for any items you leave at a gravesite.

The annual American Legion presentation will take place at 12 p.m. on Memorial Day, Monday, May 26, 2025. The public is invited and encouraged to attend.
