Activities Prohibited in Roosevelt City Parks
- Alcoholic Beverages, Beer, Open Containers thereof
exceptions are made for permitted sales at events, and at the golf course. - Smoking & Vaping
Both smoking and vaping are prohibited in all city parks, including the golf course. Smoking is only permitted in parking lots, and other marked designated areas. - Motorized Vehicles
Side-by-sides, golf carts etc. are not allowed on the grass or sidewalks at city parks and must stay in the roadways and parking areas. This is because of damage to facilities, vehicle traffic codes, as well as for the safety of everyone using the park. Personal assistive mobility devices, like motorized wheelchairs, are allowed everywhere.
