Election Day 2023
- November 21st, 2023 is Election Day
- Ballots may be dropped off at the Roosevelt City Offices, or at any Duchesne County drop box until 8 p.m. on Election Day
- Preliminary Results will be posted to Roosevelt City's Facebook page as soon as they are available
- Final Results will be announced after all mail-in ballots have been counted by Duchesne County, and the Local Board of Canvassers has certified the election. Certification will take place on December 5th, 2023.
HB 2001 ELECTION UPDATES FOR 2023 ELECTION
- Counties will conduct all elections in 2023.
- City/Town Councils will remain the board of canvassers for municipal elections.
- Municipal Primary Election (if needed) will be held on Tuesday, September 5th.
- Municipal General Election will be held on Tuesday, November 21st .
NOTICE OF 2023 MUNICIPAL ELECTION
Roosevelt City hereby notifies the public that the following offices are up for election during the 2023 Municipal Election:
- City Council Members (3) – 4-year term
The candidate filing period will be from June 1-June 7, 2023. Individuals wishing to run for office must submit a Declaration of Candidacy at the Roosevelt City Offices, located at 255 South State Street, Monday- Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on June 1st through the 7th, 2023.
